  My husband and I have visited this church for 5+ years, each time we took our annual vacation in Freeport, Maine. The people were always warm and welcoming, the preaching was Biblical and instructive (we especially love the Q&A time with the pastor *during* the sermon!), and we felt immediately at home. Good worship, good fellowship, highly recommended!

  We attended this church a few times and found the people generally friendly. The church itself is old which is common for the area. They use a piano for worship which is adequate. On our first visit, there was a good mix of traditional and contemporary praise music but on subsequent visits, they only did traditional. This may be due to the fact that the regular pastor was not presiding during the first visit and his preference may be traditional only.
  It was a little unusual to meet the retired pastor there who seemed to make more of an effort to meet new people than the regular one. We were there a few times and on no occasion did the regular pastor come and talk to us which, for a small church, seemed odd.
  They did seem to have a good church community and had organized church events. Ultimately I felt that the people seemed sincere in their Christian beliefs but because the church was not moving forward in their worship (in using a consistent blend of old traditional and new contemporary praise music which I believe bridges the gap between generations and music preferences) we felt that this was not the church for us.
